Elon Musk's DOGE asks for access to personal taxpayer data, sources say
I'm thinking the resistance might kick up on this one.
As we drifted off to sleep last night, multiple media reported that Musk’s DOGE is requesting access to personal tax records of millions of Americans, not yet granted as of last night.
Complexity scientist and author Peter Turchin* says when there is an ‘oversupply’ of the ultra-rich, they start competing (and not to our general benefit). I’m thinking a few of our 813 American billionaires aren’t going to like the top billionaire getting into their personal tax info, but perhaps I’m being oversensitive on their behalf. Read more here.
